Northern NSW Football is thrilled to announce its matchday squads that will face Capital Football in the inaugural NNSWF All-Stars Challenge.
NNSWF have selected senior men's and women's representative teams to play as the Northern NSW All-Stars.
They will go head-to-head at Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility on Saturday 10 October.
The concept builds on the successful return of representative football to the region last season, when Northern NSW All-Stars teams faced the Newcastle Jets in front of strong community support.
NNSWF Technical Director Ryan Doidge was pleased to make the announcement.
"I'm really pleased with the quality and depth of the two Northern NSW All-Stars squads," Doidge said.
"We've selected a group of talented players from NNSWF's premier competitions across the region and the inaugural NNSWF All-Stars Challenge is a fantastic opportunity to bring that talent together and showcase it on a representative stage.
"Playing against Capital Football provides our players with a great opportunity to test themselves against some of the best players from another member federation.
"We're also looking forward to seeing the selected HIT106.9 Northern League One squad in the curtain raiser. It's another great opportunity to showcase the quality of football we have across northern NSW.
"Congratulations to the players selected. I hope they enjoy the build up to the matches and wish them all the very best."
A HIT106.9 Northern League One All-Stars squad has also been selected for its curtain raiser against the Zone Football League All-Stars.
NNSWF's Technical Department chose the Umbro Northern NSW Men's and Cardiff Motor Group Northern NSW Women's extended squads made up of the best talent from across northern NSW as well as the extended HIT106.9 Northern League One squad.
Cardiff Motor Group Northern NSW Women's coaches Ben Horgan and Craig Atkins then chose the final women's 18-player matchday squad, while Umbro Northern NSW Men's All-Stars coaches Peter McGuinness and Jim Cresnar chose the final men's 18-player matchday squad.
HIT106.9 Northern League One coaches Michael Body and John Bennis chose the final 18-player matchday squad.

ENTRY: $15 adults, $5 concession, FREE 16-years and under. Tickets will be available at the gate only with contactless payment preferred.
PARKING: Supporters are advised to arrive early and leave plenty of time to enter the venue due to limited parking and with a large crowd expected.
