Returning Referees

Returning in 2025 to officiate in the Hunter Valley? Follow these easy steps:

1. Head over to PlayFootball to register - Click Here
2. If you are 18 years of age or are turning 18 in 2025, you will be required to upload your Volunteer Working with Children Check details with your registration. Need a WWCC? - Click Here
3. Await for further details from Hunter Valley Football Association.

New Referees

Follow these simple steps to gain accreditation and registration.

1. Register into the Learner Northern NSW product via PlayFootball - Click Here
2. Wait for your registration confirmation.
3. Once registration has been confirmed, head over to the Football Australia online learning centre - Click Here
4. Click on the training library, find Referee Community and then view courses. Select the Laws of the Game module and complete as instructed.
5. Find an upcoming C3 Referee course and register on that course.
6. Pay the course fee.
7. Complete the now available C3 Referee course online modules.
8. Attend your C3 Referee practical course.
9. Register for Hunter Valley Football as per the above instructions.
