2025 NAIDOC Cup squads announced

Northern NSW Football is delighted to announce its squads for the 2025 NAIDOC Cup.

The NAIDOC Cup is a unique opportunity for First Nations footballers to showcase their skills and connect with other players while celebrating country, culture and language.

A total of 64 First Nations players between the ages of 12 and 16 as well as 12 First Nations coaches will be part of the tournament.

The NAIDOC Cup brings the community together, featuring under-14s and under-16s boys and girls matches against Football NSW at Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen on Guringai land between Wednesday 8 October to Friday 10 October.

NNSWF Participation Officer – Schools and First Nations Football Micheal Hugo was eager for the tournament.

“We’re excited to have the opportunity for the fourth consecutive year to celebrate Indigenous culture and highlight the incredible talent of the First Nations players from across NSW,” Hugo said.

“The NAIDOC Cup is a fantastic platform for young players to develop their skills, learn from experienced coaches and connect with fellow First Nations athletes.”

NNSWF’s under-16s girls were awarded joint NAIDOC Cup group winners but Football NSW were crowned the NAIDOC Cup winners last year.

NNSWF congratulates all players and coaches on their selection and wishes them the best of luck for the 2025 tournament.
