2025 Premier Youth League season comes to an end

Northern NSW Football’s 2025 Premier Youth League season has come to an end with the grand finals taking place last weekend.

The PYL Girls and PYL Boys Division C grand finals took place on Saturday 13 September, while the PYL Boys Division A and B grand finals followed on Sunday 14 September.


PYL Girls Grand Finals

UNDER-13s: Adamstown Rosebud JFC defeated Broadmeadow Magic 3-0

UNDER-15s: New Lambton FC defeated Charlestown Azzurri 1-0

UNDER-17s: Newcastle Olympic defeated Mid Coast FC via penalties 3(7)-3(6)


PYL Boys Division A Grand Finals

UNDER-13s: Lake Macquarie City FC defeated Broadmeadow Magic 2-0

UNDER-14s: Lambton Jaffas defeated Newcastle Olympic 3-0

UNDER-15s: Newcastle Olympic defeated Edgeworth FC 2-1

UNDER-16s: Lambton Jaffas defeated Edgeworth FC 2-1

UNDER-18s: Newcastle Olympic defeated Maitland FC 3-1


PYL Boys Division B Grand Finals

UNDER-13s: New Lambton FC defeated Mid Coast FC 1-0

UNDER-14s: Mid Coast FC defeated New Lambton FC 1-0

UNDER-15s: New Lambton FC defeated Charlestown Azzurri 2-1

UNDER-16s: Mid Coast FC defeated Charlestown Azzurri via penalties 0(7)-0(6)

UNDER-18s: South Cardiff FC defeated Belmont Swansea United 1-0


PYL Boys Division C Grand Finals

UNDER-13s: Adamstown Rosebud FC defeated Toronto Awaba FC 2-1

UNDER-14s: Toronto Awaba FC defeated West Wallsend SFC 8-3

UNDER-15s: Toronto Awaba FC defeated West Wallsend SFC via penalties 1(4)-1(3)

UNDER-16s: Kahibah FC defeated Cessnock City Hornets 3-1

UNDER-18s: Adamstown Rosebud FC defeated Kahibah FC 2-0


NNSWF General Manager Football Operations Liam Bentley congratulated the grand finalists on an outstanding season.

“Congratulations to all our grand finalists and to the teams who were crowned champions across the weekend,” Bentley said.

“We saw two days of excellent football, showcasing some of the best young players from our region.

“I would also like to sincerely thank Cooks Hill United, New Lambton FC and Edgeworth FC for their outstanding efforts in hosting this year’s grand finals.”
