Football Mid North Coast community footballers and their coaches hit the road over the next two weeks to participate in three different tournaments.
Through next week 8 teams will represent Football Mid North Coast at the Newcastle Permanent State Youth Championships. This tournament will see some of the best community footballers from all zones clash in good old fashioned zone v zone representative football.

‘It is exciting to have players come together from so many clubs right across our zone travel down to Speers Point to test themselves against the other zones. This tournament is a great opportunity for these players to grab their opportunity to wear the FMNC badge and represent our region.’ General manager Phillip Andrews.
‘As this tournament continues to evolve, FMNC is excited to be part of the action. We want this first experience to be positive and look at ways to expand to include more teams in 2027.’ said Andrews
Immediately following the Newcastle Permanent State Youth Championships, the Women’s State Cup kicks off. FMNC is represented by Kempsey Saints FC, Lake Cathie FC and Southern United FC. This format will put these teams up against strong community teams from other regions as well as Hunter based NPLW teams.
Three junior teams from the FMNC Youth Development Academy are making their way to Canberra for the Kanga Cup. The Kanga Cup is always a challenging tournament. These teams are well prepared with the players extremely enthusiastic to rise to the challenge.
