Northern NSW Football has announced the fixtures for the group stage of the 2025 NNSW Regional Super League men’s and women’s competitions.
The inaugural NNSW RSL will kick off on Saturday 10 May with the pilot competition featuring men’s and women’s leagues made up of eight teams. The competitions will be split into two pools of four teams.
Each team will play three match days with the first played by 31 May 2025, the second by 30 June 2025 and the third by 31 July. The top two teams from each pool will then advance through to a finals festival weekend to be played in October.
In round one of the NNSW RSL Women’s, Armidale City Westside FC will welcome local rivals Oxley Vale Attunga FC to town, while Coffs City United will travel south to face Macleay Valley Rangers FC. Tamworth FC will host Port United FC and Lake Cathie will make the trip north to play against Urunga FC.
In round one of the NNSW RSL Men’s, Woolgoolga United FC will travel south to take on Inverell FC, while Urunga FC will welcome Macleay Valley Rangers. Armidale City Westside FC will host Port United FC and Northern Storm will travel south to face Port Saints FC.
The match of the round in the men’s and women’s competitions will be streamed live on the NNSWF YouTube channel.
NNSWF General Manager Liam Bentley looked forward to getting the NNSW RSL competitions underway.
“The establishment of the Northern NSW Regional Super League is an exciting step forward for football across regional northern NSW,” Bentley said.
“We will kick off round one of the competitions with a double header for Armidale City Westside FC men’s and women’s teams.
“The competition will extend the pathways for regional players and clubs as well as create a platform for talented regional players to showcase their talent.
“I wish all players, coaches, match officials and clubs the best. I’d encourage everyone to get out and support our players and clubs responsibly throughout the inaugural competition.”
