Northern NSW Football conducted its 2025 Women’s State Cup draw on Monday afternoon.
The draw was broadcast live on NNSWF’s social media channels.
The Women’s State Cup will return next month with the best NNSWF premier and community teams coming together at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility for the chance to be crowned state champions.
The three-day tournament will be held from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 of July and feature a record-equaling 21 teams.
NPL Women’s NNSW club and defending champions Newcastle Olympic were drawn in group D alongside Lake Macquarie City FC and community clubs Old Bar Barbarians, Raymond Terrace SC and University of Newcastle FC.
The 2024 Community Plate winners Cooks Hill United were drawn in group B with Kempsey Saints FC and Westlakes Wildcats FC as well as premier under-17s side Mid Coast FC and NPL Women’s NNSW reigning champions Charlestown Azzurri.
The NNSWF Indigenous team will again enter the competition made up of Indigenous players and coaches from throughout northern NSW.
The full fixture list will be announced next week.
