THE Coffs Coast Tigers, Northern Storm, and Woolgoolga United will look to continue their Australia Cup campaigns when they play their third round matches this weekend.
The Coffs Coast Tigers play host to Hillvue Rovers FC on Saturday night.
The Tigers progressed to the third round with a 3-0 win against the Demon Knights in Armidale.
The Tigers were preliminary finalists during last year’s Coastal Premier League season, while the Hillvue Rovers finished sixth on the ladder in the Northern Inland Football Premier Division.
Northern Storm travel to take on South Armidale United on Sunday afternoon.
The Storm won their opening match with a penalty shootout win against the Westlawn Tigers, while South Armidale United are coming off a 4-2 victory against Narrabri.
The Storm just missed out on a finals spot in last year’s Coastal Premier League competition, while South Armidale United were runners up in the SportUNE Football League’s first division.
Woolgoolga United are at home to the Lake Cathie Raiders on Saturday afternoon.
Woolgoolga opened their Australia Cup campaign with a 2-1 win away from home against Inverell, with Lake Cathie also 2-1 victors in a home win against Sawtell.
Woolgoolga United won last year’s North Coast Football 2nd division South competition, while Lake Cathie were semi-finalists in the Football Mid North Coast competition.
