Northern NSW Football conducts Hahn Australia Cup Southern Conference preliminary third round draw

Northern NSW Football has conducted a draw for its Southern Conference round three of the Hahn Australia Cup 2025. 

The draw was broadcast live on Tuesday afternoon, with 26 teams from across the football community involved in the draw, representing the Southern Conference. 

Southern Conference round three matches will be played by 3 April 2025. 

There are seven knockout rounds to decide the two NNSWF representatives that qualify for the national round of 32.  

Zone Football League One club Cardiff City FC will host newly promoted HIT106.9 Northern League One side Dudley Redhead United at Evans Park, while Zone Football League Two side Croudace Bay United will make the trip out to Howe Park to face Northern League One club Singleton Strikers. 

It will be a Mayfield derby as Zone Football League Two side Mayfield United Junior Soccer Football Club welcomes Zone Football League One club Mayfield United Senior Football Club to Stevenson Park. 

Freshly relegated Northern League One club Lake Macquarie City FC will travel to Myers Park to face Zone Football League One powerhouse Newcastle Suns FC, while fellow Northern League One clubs South Cardiff FC and Thornton Redbacks FC will go head-to-head at Ulinga Oval. 

Newly promoted Zone Football League One side Newcastle Croatia will welcome Zone Football League Three club Barnsley United FC to Pasadena Oval, while the winner of Zone Football League side Garden Suburb FC and Zone Football League One Club Stockton Sharks FC will host Northern League One club West Wallsend SFC. 

Zone Football League One club Warners Bay FC will host newly relegated Zone Football League Two side Minmi FC at John Street Oval, while Northern League One team Toronto Awaba FC will welcome the winner of Zone Football League Three club Greta Branxton FC and Zone Football League One side University of Newcastle FC. 

Northern League One club Kahibah FC will travel to Chapman Oval to face Zone Football League One side Swansea FC, while Zone Football League club Kotara South FC will welcome Northern League One side Cessnock City Hornets to Nesbitt Park. 

The two national round representatives will also play off in the NNSWF State Cup final to crown a NNSWF cup champion. The best-performing community team from the Northern Zone will also face off against the best-performing community team from the Southern Zone for the Community State Plate.
