The Coffs Coast Tigers have sent an emphatic message to the rest of the competition and shown just why they are the ladder leaders, with a dominant 9-0 victory against the Sawtell Scorpions at Toormina.

The Tigers sit at the top of the Men’s Premier League ladder five points clear of the Coffs City United Lions, who moved up into second spot on the ladder with a 1-0 win away from home against the Woolgoolga Wolves.

The Lions and Wolves both have 22 points, with the Lions having a superior goal difference.

The Northern Storm kept in touch with the ladder leaders with a 2-0 win against the Westlawn Tigers at Junction Hill.

The Men’s Premier league season continues this weekend with Round 14 matches in Coffs Harbour, Korora, and Woolgoolga.

The Storm have won five of their past six matches, while the Tigers have not lost since the opening round in what shapes to be a tantalising contest.

The Tigers were 5-2 winners when they last met in Round 4.

The Woolgoolga Wolves play host to the Sawtell Scorpions, with both sides looking to bounce back from last start losses.

The Wolves were 6-2 victors in their previous encounter.

The Coffs City United Lions will look to continue their charge up the ladder when they host the Westlawn Tigers.
