Talented Female Program (TFP)

The NCF Talented Female Program (TFP) is designed to provide a structured development environment for female players looking to improve their skills and continue progressing within the NCF pathway.

TFP focuses on supporting individual player development while providing opportunities to experience competitive football environments.

Program Overview

TFP is aimed at female players aged U12–U16, forming an important stage of the NCF development pathway.

For 2027:

  • 5 teams
  • Maximum of 16 players per team (U12s a maximum of 12 players)
  • 1 dedicated coach per team
  • Program runs from March to September (U12s will run from February to August and participate in NNSW Girls Gala Days)

Training days:

  • U12s, U13s & U14s: Thursdays, 4:15pm to 5:30pm
  • U15s & U16: Tuesdays, 5:30pm to 6:45pm

Program Fee

Fee for 2027 is:

$590

  • Training kit is to be purchased separately via the NCF Club Shop

Competition Experience

TFP players will participate in:

  • State Youth Championship
  • Premier Invitational

These experiences are designed to provide exposure to a higher level of competition and support player development.

  • Participation may involve additional costs
  • Further details will be provided during the season

Development Focus

TFP continues the development process beyond Club football, focusing on building more advanced technical and game understanding.

The program focuses on:

  • Passing and receiving in realistic situations
  • Finishing and attacking play

✅ Game Understanding

  • Decision making in game scenarios
  • Positional awareness and team structure

✅ Player Behaviour & Standards

  • Commitment and consistency
  • Training intensity and work ethic
  • Professional attitude on and off the field

Program Expectations

Players selected into TFP are expected to:

  • Commit to all training sessions
  • Train with focus, intensity, and purpose
  • Take responsibility for their own development
