Premier Youth League (PYL)
The NCF Premier Youth League (PYL) program represents the highest level of training and performance within the NCF Talent Development pathway.
PYL is designed for players who demonstrate the required standard of ability, commitment, and attitude to train and compete in a more demanding football environment.
Program Overview
PYL is aimed at players from U13–U18, providing a structured, high-performance environment for player development and competition.
For 2027:
- Teams across U13–U18 age groups
- Selected through a trial process
- Delivered by Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches
- Players train three times per week – Monday, Tuesday & Thursday and play weekend matches.
- U13s - 4:15pm to 5:30pm each day
- U14s – Monday & Thursday 5:30pm to 6:45pm, Tuesday 4:15pm to 5:30pm
- U15s – Monday & Thursday 5:30pm to 6:45pm, Tuesday 4:15pm to 5:30pm
- U16s & U18s – 5:30pm to 6:45pm each day
Program Fee
The PYL program fee for 2027 is:
$2,290
- Training kit and uniform are to be purchased separately via the NCF Club Shop
Competition
PYL teams compete in the Football NSW Premier Youth League competition, providing players with exposure to a higher standard of football.
- Fixtures include both home and away matches
- Travel is a required component of the program
Performance Environment
PYL provides a more demanding training and playing environment, where expectations are higher than in other NCF programs.

Players selected into PYL are expected to:
- Commit to all training sessions and fixtures

Selection & Progression
Selection into PYL is competitive and based on:
- Player ability
- Attitude and work ethic
- Commitment to the program
Selection into PYL does not guarantee progression beyond the program. Player development is ongoing and individual.
